Match times in Berlin, London and New York: what to watch out for

  • Tournaments in Europe: the day session usually starts between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the evening session between 6 and 8 p.m. local time (= Berlin time). That is one hour earlier in London and normally six hours earlier in New York – an evening match at 7 p.m. in Paris or Turin starts at 6 p.m. GMT and 1 p.m. ET.
  • Clock change on 25 October 2026: from then on Berlin is on CET (UTC+1) instead of CEST (UTC+2), and London on GMT instead of BST. Local start times at European events don't change for European viewers; the gap to overseas tournaments grows by one hour. The US switches back a week later, on 1 November 2026 – between those dates New York is only five hours behind Berlin.
  • “Not before” slots: if a match follows another one on the same court, it can start considerably later than scheduled.

Looking back: Zverev's 2026 season up to Shanghai

2026 is Zverev's most successful season: he won Roland Garros and the US Open, reached the Wimbledon final and the Australian Open semifinals, and has been world No. 2 since 24 August 2026. Before Shanghai, he lost in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 event in Beijing to Novak Djokovic. The full season with every result is on the Matches page, his tournament record under Tournaments.
